Welcome, and Thank You for taking an interest in the recovery of Roy, a Missing Cat in your community.

This webpage can be your starting point to all things related to the ongoing search & recovery of Roy.  (pictured at right)

As a caring member of the community you have a wonderful opportunity to jointly participate in the homecoming and rescue of a beloved pet. Roy's family misses him dearly.

Please read through the information below for simple, but vital, ways you can take part and aid in the recovery effort. Your concern is greatly appreciated and will make a difference for Roy and his family.

Who Am I
My name is Steve Hagey; I am a professional pet detective with years of experience, credible expertise, and vast knowledge of lost pet behavior. I have created, do maintain, and will monitor this website and corresponding Blog for the express purpose of recovering Roy and to ultimately bring peace to Roy's family.

Who is Roy's Family
Roy's owner, Daniela, a member of your community, with great sincerity and heartfelt gratitude would like to ask for your help in bringing Roy back home.

Why We Need Your Help
The simple answer is that the Odds are against us. As a professional pet detective, I know first hand how difficult a recovery can be. However, with your help in a unified effort, Roy stands a much improved chance at a safe homecoming.

How You Can Help
In the comfort of your own home, by sitting at your computer, you can be a part of the recovery team. To bring the  community together individually and as a whole, a Blog has been created just for Roy.

What is a Blog
A Blog is a webpage on the internet that serves as a meeting place for people to gather and share information about a common topic. In this case, the topic is Roy. Participants may read blog entries and comment on existing information within the blog. Think of it as a daily journal with many contributors. The word Blog is formed from "Web Log".

What is Expected From You
There are absolutely no expectations. There are no fees, donations, or money’s expected. Your participation is solely based on your own interest and compassion for an animal in need. Whatever time you can dedicate will be appreciated. However, the more often you check the blog and post information, the more you will know about the Recovery effort.

How To Access the Blog
Accessing the blog is easy. Simply click the following link or type the link in your browser’s URL line: http://helpfindroy.blogspot.com/

The Blog is created on Googles’ Blogspot site. Google requests that each participant create an account. If you already have a Google account, you are ready to go. If you do not have a Google account, creating an account is simple. Again, creating an account is a one-time process and is free.

What You May See on the blog
The blog is a repository for information provided by the community. Obviously, you will be able to read information provided by the community, but also tips and information will be provided for ways in which you can help. Other postings may show photos collected from the search effort, frequent updates on the progress, or a listing of clues and evidence gained.

What to Comment
You are encouraged to participate in the blog and comment as you wish. Obviously, any information you may have about Roy, including sightings, strange disturbances, tips for recovery, etc. are all important. But, if you have your own success stories or would like to offer encouragement to the pet owner, please don't hesitate.

Monitoring
The information posted will be monitored for common decency. Anything posted that is potentially obscene, vulgar, or inappropriate for the common good of this endeavor will be deleted. Saving a life is a serious matter and should be treated with respect. Thank You.
